Northern Lights Chase

Welcome to Tromsø and our Northern Lights Chase! Away from the city’s light pollution, we offer the best possible chance of witnessing the Northern Lights!

Welcome aboard! Your safety is our biggest priority!

Please wear your seatbelt and do not leave your seat for the whole duration of the drive!

Ready, Set, Lights!

Chasing the Northern Lights with us means we will do everything we can to give you the best chance of seeing the Aurora tonight. Our dedicated guides will accompany you throughout the evening, ensuring you stay cozy and comfortable during this Northern Lights chase.

Once we find the perfect spot for nature’s grand show, we’ll warm you up with hot drinks and biscuits.

Tromsø’s weather can be unpredictable. Unfortunately, since Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot promise a show. But what we can promise is an unforgettable experience under the Arctic skies!

Here are some more of the reasons why you are in good hands with us:

Professional guides keeping track of the weather and Aurora activities
Professional drivers and modern vehicles guarantee your safety, even on icy winter roads
Free onboard WiFi to keep you entertained while we wait
Drinks and snacks around a campfire to keep you warm in the Arctic night
When we see the Northern Lights: Professional photographers capturing your aurora portrait
If we don’t see the Northern Lights: a 2nd Chance tour for 50% off
Low-impact chase with an eco-certified provider

If you have brought your camera, here are some settings to use. And of course you can always ask your guides for more tips & tricks.

Camera and lens in manual mode
ISO 3200
Aperture (F-number) as low as possible
Shutter Speed between 2-8, depending on strength of Aurora
Use a tripod if possible!
