Day 1: Setting Sail & Northern Lights

We’ll begin our adventure in the charming city of Tromsø, cruising north into Norway’s breathtaking fjords. Settle in and enjoy the serene Arctic scenery as it drifts by. Dinner features a special three-course meal at 9:00 PM, prepared with flavors that reflect the Norwegian coast. While you savor each course, our Northern Lights expert will introduce you to this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon – the science behind it, the legends, and the best ways to catch a glimpse. With a bit of luck and clear skies, we may be treated to a spectacular display of the Aurora Borealis.

Day 2: Breakfast, Whales, and a Deeper Dive into the Arctic

Awake to a fresh morning in Skjervøy, where a hearty breakfast buffet awaits. Afterward, our crew will introduce you to the whale species of the Arctic, explaining what we’ll be looking for and sharing tips to help you spot these incredible creatures. Then we’re off! We’ll spend the next 3–4 hours on the water, watching for humpbacks, orcas, and possibly more as they move through their winter feeding grounds. Our guides are dedicated to respecting these animals’ space, allowing you to observe these giants in a way that is both awe-inspiring and sustainable.

Upon our return, lunch will be ready – a delicious three-course meal where you can share stories of the whales you spotted and the sights from the morning. After lunch, join us for an engaging talk about the whales of the Arctic, covering everything from their unique adaptations to their crucial role in the marine ecosystem and their incredible evolutionary journey.
